SLASH: AXL ROSE hatar mig fortfarande

Hela våren har varit en följetong kring Guns N' Roses kommande Hall Of Fame ceremoni. Skall originaluppsättningen spela? Kommer Izzy Stradlin dyka upp? Nu säger Slash att han mer än gärna skulle vilja spela, men att det inte kommer att ske eftersom Axl Rose fortfarande hyser agg gentemot den forne Guns N' Roses-gitarristen. Till Rolling Stone säger Slash:

- "Everyone has been asking me what's going to happen, and they know as much as I do. I feel you're totally obligated to be present and I would love to fucking play, but it's just something that's not gonna happen for whatever reason."

- "He [Axl] hates my guts," säger Slash. It's over a lot of different stuff; I don't even know. There's just no communication between us. I talk to Duff and Steven, but when it comes to old Guns N' Roses, there really isn't anybody that makes decisions."

Tidigare har Slash uttryckt sig positiv till en återförening. Men har på sistone stått fast vid att ingenting kommer att ske på ceremonin. Till Loudwire tidigare i mars sa Slash:

- "I would love to play. It's just, one of those things where I know that it's not going to happen, so… I just did an interview and said, 'I don't think we're playing.' [Laughs]. I mean I think it would be cool to play, but very early on when the whole thing came up, it became apparent that it wasn't going to happen — and you know, that doesn't surprise me. We've been at odds for… well, not at odds, but we just haven't had any sort of communication in a long time so… that's basically it. That's all I can tell you."

Tidigare har Duff McKagan varit tveksam till om en återförening överhuvudtaget skulle kunna ske, men att han gärna hade gjort det.

- "I think it would be killer. Do I hope to? That's a tricky question. It would be awesome. You have those day dreams like, 'We'll go up and play 'Nightrain' and 'Brownstone' and throw down the microphone and drop off! That'll be killer!' But I doubt that'll happen."

Hall Of Fame-ceremonin går av stapeln den 14 juni.
