Judas Priest släpper ny samlingsskiva

Artisterna som deltog i urvalet av låtar till den 17-låtar långa "The Chosen Few" var bland annat Ozzy Osbourne, Slash, Metallicas James Hetfield och Lars Ulrich, Alice Cooper och Slipknots Corey Taylor.

"This is a collection of songs chosen by our friends and respected peers," berättade Priests frontman Rob Halford för Rolling Stone. "So we hope all the metal maniacs out there will rock out to the tunes enjoyed by metal legends."

Som en bonus ingår dessutom förklaringar från varje artist om deras val av låt, inklusive Taylors översvallande åsikt att Priest tidiga MTV hymn "You've Got Another Thing Coming,"orsakade gruppen att bli "the blueprint for the ultimate heavy metal band". På ett ställe, blir Osbourne förvirrad av en högfrekvent ton sjungs av Halford i början av "The Ripper" ("Fuckin hell! That note is probably just below what only dogs can hear").
